Thaumatin (Talin) is the most powerful natural sweetener available, extracted from the Katemfe fruit found in the tropical regions of West Africa. When incorporated into boilies or seeds, it creates a strong sweetening effect without the bitter aftertaste commonly associated with synthetic sweeteners. The perception of sweetness develops gradually and remains present for an extended period. Another key characteristic of Thaumatin is its ability to stabilize and enhance flavors.

Its sweetening power is up to 3,000 times greater than that of sugar. It has extremely high solubility and is both thermostable and stable under acidic pH conditions. We recommend using it in any type of boilies to mask unpleasant tastes, such as those from highly hydrolyzed proteins, as well as in seeds or tiger nuts.

Recommended dosage:

  • 2-5 ml per kg of mix
  • 5 ml per kg of dry seeds or tiger nuts
