999 TripleNine Prime Fishmeal 72%

TripleNine 999 Prime Fishmeal 72% is a premium fishmeal, produced by the Danish TripleNine Group, one of the most important European processors of marine ingredients. It is produced exclusively from fresh fish caught in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, using herring, capelin, sprat, sandeel and blue whiting as the main raw materials. Rapid processing of the raw material after capture contributes to preserving its nutritional value, resulting in an ingredient with a high protein content, excellent digestibility and a balanced profile of essential amino acids.

Unlike conventional fishmeals, TripleNine 999 Prime is produced through a controlled process of thermal treatment and indirect steam drying, designed to limit protein denaturation and preserve nutritional value. The raw material is unpreserved, comes from both whole fish and co-products resulting from the processing of fish intended for human consumption and benefits from traceability back to its origin. Compared with LT fishmeals, dried at low temperatures, generally below 70°C, the steam drying process uses slightly higher temperatures, but under controlled conditions and is less aggressive than direct flame drying, which is frequently used for conventional fishmeals. The combination of raw material quality and processing technology allows a protein content of approximately 70–74% to be achieved, with high digestibility and a well-preserved essential amino acid profile, clearly differentiating it from conventional fishmeals with 62–64% protein, produced through direct flame drying.

Through its characteristics, TripleNine 999 Prime is positioned between conventional fishmeals and LT fishmeals. It is not an LT fishmeal from a technological standpoint, but its nutritional value brings it close to this category: nutritionally similar, technologically different. This positioning makes it suitable for applications where a high protein intake and superior digestibility are required, without resorting to an LT fishmeal as such.
