General delivery terms
Shipping costs are calculated based on the rates applied by the transport companies with which Baitshop România has contractual agreements. Products in stock are prepared and shipped within approximately 1-5 business days. If this timeframe cannot be met, the Client will be informed, and a new delivery date will be agreed upon.
The cash-on-delivery fee applies only within Romania and for parcels with a maximum weight of 25 kg. For parcels exceeding this weight, only card payments or bank transfers are accepted.
If you notice signs of damage on the package at the time of delivery, please ask the courier to be present when opening it, if possible, or refuse the package. Product replacement or refund is only possible if one of these two conditions is met. If you accept a damaged parcel and the courier has already left your address, Baitshop România cannot initiate a compensation procedure.
If the parcel shows no visible external damage, but upon opening it, you discover any irregularities, please contact us via email at contact@baitshop.ro.
Shipping rates and any additional fees related to the payment method are calculated automatically when placing the order, except for international palletized shipments, for which SPOT price quotes are required.
The recipient is responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including postal code, address, and phone number. In the case of a failed delivery, Baitshop România reserves the right to recover the shipping costs paid to the courier if a new order is placed.
National parcel deliveries (max. 250 kg)
Within Romania, parcel deliveries are handled by GLS Logistics. Baitshop România reserves the right to ship orders weighing up to 250 kg exclusively via express courier services. The shipping costs per parcel are fixed, regardless of the destination, and include VAT, SMS notification fees, and the fuel index, but do not include cash-on-delivery fees. The prices for national deliveries are as follows:

National pallet deliveries (max. 1200 kg/pallet)
In Romania, palletized freight deliveries are carried out by PallEx Romania. The goods are insured in accordance with the CMR Convention. Pallets are provided free of charge by Baitshop Romania and do not need to be returned. PallEx offers recipients the option to schedule the delivery, and upon request, pallets weighing up to 750 kg can be delivered by a vehicle equipped with a hydraulic lift. If you require liftgate unloading, please mention this in the comments section when placing your order.

International parcel deliveries (max. 250 kg)
Baitshop Romania offers the possibility of shipping parcels to 23 countries within the European Union. Shipping costs include VAT and the fuel index. In the event of a failed delivery due to the recipient's fault, they will be required to pay the round-trip shipping fees to take possession of the returned parcel. Please carefully provide the necessary delivery information, with the most important being the postal code, address, and phone number. The prices for international deliveries are as follows:

International pallet deliveries (max. 1200 kg/pallet)
To offer you the most advantageous shipping rates, Baitshop Romania reserves the right to request a SPOT quote at the time of order placement. The delivered goods are insured in accordance with the CMR Convention, and palletized transport within Europe is typically carried out by Schenker Logistics and DSV Logistics. Depending on the destination and the specifics of the shipment, quotes may also be requested from other transport companies or through the freight exchange for orders of at least 2 pallets. Additionally, the client has the option to arrange transportation independently if they prefer this alternative.
Warehouse pickup
The warehouse pickup option is available for customers who wish to collect their order in person or arrange their own transport. To pick up the products, an appointment is required by phone or email. The pickup schedule is Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00, and the warehouse address is Florina street no. 1, 447210 Odoreu, Satu Mare County, Romania. In the case you want the products to be delivered by your own hauler please complete the delivery adress fields and mention this aspect in the comments section when completing the order.
Return policy
When purchasing from an online store in a European Union member state, every customer benefits from the protection provided by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, which applies similarly to Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 in Romania.
Products can be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt, provided that prior notification is sent via email to contact@baitshop.ro, stating the intention to return the order. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
According to Article 16 of Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, regarding the return of perishable products or those with a limited shelf life, returns of Baitshop products can only be initiated if they are in the same condition as when shipped and have not been unsealed. Otherwise, resale is not possible due to non-compliance with food safety and protection regulations.
If you have received a expired product, one that does not match the specifications listed on the website, or a damaged item, the product replacement procedure will apply.
